COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
High Wire NZ is an all New Zealand hopped version of our west coast pale ale High Wire. Same ABV, same defined malty character but with a deliciously moreish tropical hop character derived from 4 different NZ hop varieties. Expect Passion Fruit and Mango on the nose and bright sauvignon-esque Gooesberry flavours on the palate. Its High Wire the same but different…

Cask at Merton Beer Festival Saturday 28th February 2015. Golden in colour with a load of dancing white bubbles on top. Fruity nose with tropical fruits with mango and pineapple showing, though I do get and really enjoy the little vein of gooseberry which adds a nice tart zippy edge. Another beer In should like to try on Keykeg though it is very good on Cask. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.7

Tap. Rutland Arms, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Messy, bubbly, sticky, white head. Juicy, oily, mango hop hit. Bit of bubblegum. Sweet, grainy malt. Taste is sweet initially, quickly turning long lasting, zesty bitter. Juicy, lightly oily palate. Finishes lingering bitter.

24th Jan 2015: third of a pint, on-tap at Cotteridge Wines. Almost clear golden body with a white topping. Good blend of flavours with a semi-sweet tropical fruit and maltiness in the aroma. The taste a mixed bag of citrus fruits again with a good malty feel to the affair. Nice, cleansed my palate for the onslaught that followed.

Tap @ the Taphouse Sydney. Hazy orange/amber head, frothy well retained white head, strong lacing. Typical stone and citrus fruit aromas synonymous with nz hops alongs with some bready notes. Similar flavours but with a decent whack of pine intertwined. Quality beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask conditioned at Harbury Beer Festival ’14. Hazed gold with white head. Perfumed hops from the start, grapefruit notes, bitter and pithy, drying throughout, plenty of depth of flavour. Great stuff.
