High Wire is our tribute to the Pale Ales of the West Coast of America, beers unapologetically hop forward in character. Let your taste buds walk this test of balance. Mango, lychee and lip-smacking grapefruit flavours harmonise against a smoothly composed malt base, which develops into a crisply bitter finish. Are you ready for our tightrope of taste. .?

Aroma of tropical fruits, biscuity malt, pine, hops. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a moderate to medium bitter finish. Rather too malt-oriented for me to be a true winner, but it’s definitely smooth and refreshing and it goes down well.

On tap, 1dl tasting glass @ Kaapse Brouwers 1st Anniversary Beer Festival 2015, Rotterdam. Body is clear pale golden, head is small, white, creamy, mostly diminishing, good lacing. Nose is light floral, flavor is fruity, orange peel, light honey. Medium sweet. Light hoppy. Finish is medium lasting hoppy bittersweet, later more hoppy which stays longer. Medium body, thin texture, soft carbonation. Easy, refreshing, good hoppy beer.

Lovely aroma, with a nice mango nose. Notes of mango and lychee, with a hint of grass in the taste. Complex hops. Beautiful hazy golden appearance. Gentle carbonation. Lovely

Tap at Speakeasy in Tallinn. Slightly hazy golden, head off-white, retains nicely. The nose is fruity, floral, also something disturbingly vegetably or smth, citric - a somewhat old school vibe. Flavour similar, quite bitter. Carbonation average, body medium, dryish on the palate. Not a big fan of this.

Draft @ Tilquin English beer festival, 2015.
