COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
High Wire is our tribute to the Pale Ales of the West Coast of America, beers unapologetically hop forward in character. Let your taste buds walk this test of balance. Mango, lychee and lip-smacking grapefruit flavours harmonise against a smoothly composed malt base, which develops into a crisply bitter finish. Are you ready for our tightrope of taste. .?

Keg at Stormbird, Camberwell. You all know the deal with this one. Have to say this is much better on cask. The flavours and aroma come through a lot more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught @ Sheffield Tap. Light hazy darker blond to light amber coloured with lots of carbonation and a large dense white had. Fruity hoppy hinted aroma. Medium to full palate. Finish is light hoppy bitter fruity noted. Hopflowers used? Not bad.

bottle. Golden with a small head. Hoppy but not extremly so. Slightly bitter and left lots of lacing. Nice try at a west coast IPA that just about succeeds.

Aroma: Pine, lychee, biscuit and lemon rind.

Appearance: Hazy golden body with a thick white head. No visible carbonation. Great lacing.

Taste: Very herbal with a distinct pine and caramel kick. Hints of lychee and mango. Lingering bitterness. Lovely.

Palate: Medium to full body with an oily mouthfeel. Light carbonation prickle.

Overall: Why it has taken me so long to try this beer, I really don’t know - it’s absolutely fantastic. A real hop bomb with lots of different flavours coming through. I could still taste this beer 15 minutes after I’d finished it. Would love to try this on keg.

19/04/2013 Ma che siete venuti a fà (tap). Dorata, limpidissima, schiuma bianca leggera e persistente. Aroma pungente, sentori agrumati, erbacei e di frutta tropicale. In bocca è amara, molto persistente e secca nel finale, pulita e fresca. Corpo leggero, carbonazione abbondante. Non è il cocktail di luppoli che preferisco, ma questa era davvero ben fatta!

UPDATED: APR 23, 2013 Standard, very tasty American style pale ale. Pleasing in the sun- bitter, some tropical fruit from the hops. Not too strong and not too bitter. Perfectly balanced, in fact, and definitely worth a go!
