COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
High Wire is our tribute to the Pale Ales of the West Coast of America, beers unapologetically hop forward in character. Let your taste buds walk this test of balance. Mango, lychee and lip-smacking grapefruit flavours harmonise against a smoothly composed malt base, which develops into a crisply bitter finish. Are you ready for our tightrope of taste. .?

A lovely beer - served from tap at The Cock, Hackney - quite dark amber for a pale ale, with beautiful vanilla aroma and flavour as it enters the mouth, a lovely fruity flavour in the mouth and a grapefruit / light marmalade aftertaste. Thoroughly recommended, and not too strong either, at 5.6%.

Bottle from Beer Gonzo, Coventry. Have heard many good things about this beer was really looking forward to this. Pours a slightly hazy golden brown, nice bit of carbonation with a small white head. Looks very appealing! Aromas are of mango, pineapple and tropical fruits. Typical American smell. Taste is initially sweet with plenty of fruit going on with a nice not too bitter finish. Lovely stuff.

On tap at Y Delyn Wine Bar, Mold. Pours a vibrant, slightly hazy orange colour with a thin white head that lasts. Aroma is hoppy and citrussy. Taste is effervescently hoppy with mango and orange peel the dominant flavours. Palate is nice and lightly carbonated with a lingering bitter aftertaste. Very nice.

Light amber color. Big fresh fruity nose with tons of pineapples and tropical fruit. The mouth superbly well balanced, no flawless, hops everywhere, great malt back bone. Very clean, quaffable. Nice bitter finish without going over the top. So so smooth and great.

Soft, subdued nose. Pineapple, toffee malt, apple and lychee. Smooth but fullish body. A bit dulled but lots of toffee and tropical fruit. Solid.

cask at cloisters. lovely head, creamy mouth feel, hop explosion, I want to say this is what 3 Floyds zombie dust would taste like on cask. but that is probably never a comparison I’ll be able to make. still a very nice pint.

On tap at The Pit Chapel Allerton Leeds. Pours a golden straw colour. Nice laced head with smells of hoppy floral notes. Tastes of hops, grass and fruity notes such as peach, lime and apricot. Fairly decent beer!

Tap at Hack and Hop. Pours clear orange with a dense white head. Loads if lacing left. Nose is pungent citric zest and tropical fruits. Sweetness of the fruits balanced by some aggressive bitterness. Taste is zesty as all hell with loads of passionfruit and lychee fruits. Nice aggressive bitterness. Very good. Prefer this over the NZ version
