COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
High Wire is our tribute to the Pale Ales of the West Coast of America, beers unapologetically hop forward in character. Let your taste buds walk this test of balance. Mango, lychee and lip-smacking grapefruit flavours harmonise against a smoothly composed malt base, which develops into a crisply bitter finish. Are you ready for our tightrope of taste. .?

Cask at Craft Beer Co. Nice clean pour, frothy orange with modest haze. Nose is definitely quite inviting, with tons of fruit making it more than the SNPA clone one tends to expect here. Some malt and bitter, sprucey stuff going on at the beer’s core, and there’s a nice balance given how many different flavors are in this one. But at the end of the day it’s all about the buoyant fruit, and I found it nicely done and refreshing.

Keg in the Firehouse, Sowerby Bridge. A golden beer with a white head. Nice - lots of pine hop flavour. A little spicy. Very good and refreshing. Quite high carbonation. Good beer.

Birra ottima, rinfrescante e piacevole.

Tap @ Naiiv, Tartu. Pours golden with off-white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, citrus, and floral. Taste is citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruits, and pine. Finish has some nice bitterness. Overall: solid brew. I have had several similar brews lately and this didn’t really stand out by anything.

Aroma: fruity hops, tropical, mango. Appearance: light pale gold, small white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: medium carbonation, light bitters continue, slightly dry in the end. Overall: nice APA, bit underwhelming palate. Pint at the Old Fountain, Old Street.

Keg at The Fox. Maltier than I remember and thus not as good as the NZ for me. Nice deepward spiral from the malts aided by a healthy tongue zing into mildly sweet yellow fruits and a hint of bubblegum into medium dryness.

Bottle at home. Pours a clear gold with a bright white head. Aroma is...very nice. Lots of hops, vanilla, sweet malts, apricot, citrus. Flavour has tropical fruit, hops, nice amount of malts, good sweetness and bitterness. First Magic Rock beer, very impressed!

Bottle from Beer Gonzo, Coventry. Have heard many good things about this beer was really looking forward to this. Pours a slightly hazy golden brown, nice bit of carbonation with a small white head. Looks very appealing! Aromas are of mango, pineapple and tropical fruits. Typical American smell. Taste is initially sweet with plenty of fruit going on with a nice not too bitter finish. Lovely stuff.
