Nice porter, excellent character, not sure about the chili element necessarily, but very good.

Draft. A hazy brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruit, caramel, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, caramel, and chocolate, leading to a bitter finish.

5.4%ABV. Chocolate porter. Tapped out with a creamy tan foam head and an rich dark brown black color. About 40°SRM. The nose is full of smoked chili peppers. There are of course roasted oats and barley like any good Porter. The mouthfeel was heavy and the palate was slightly sweet. Flavors were predictably that of spicy peppers, but not in a pleasant seductive way but in a brash, trashy, gimmicky way. Did not appeal to me at all. Ume dry finish. Unpleasant.

UPDATED: JUN 17, 2015 Niesamowite piwo. Łagodne w zapachu - głównie czekoladowo-kawowe nuty. W smaku - najmocniejsze chili, jakie czułem w piwie. Naprostowało mi przełyk. Przy tak niskim Plato po prostu przebogate.

Really heavy chocolatey aroma with the same subsequent taste. A little syrupy with a very slight aftertaste. Quite delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Chocolate porter. Very strong aroma if chocolate. Very dark red, nearly black with a lasting creamy head. Very spicy taste. Really flavoursome. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12.2.2015. Cask. Chipotle chocolate porter. This really has chili! Nose is soft chocolate and dark malts. Flavour has those in the beginning but then comes the chili punch and lasts for some time. Hides other tastes but in a way this works!

Wow. What a beer! Very rich, silky and full of flavour (especially for the ABV). A real big hit of chilli for a beer. Very nice.

1/2 pint @cask Aberdeen. Body is pitch black, head is small beige average lasting excellent lacing. Nose is roasty, aroma is dark roasted coffee, hot chilly, black out. Taste is roasty bitter. Medium body dry texture soft carbonation. Way too spicy, interesting.

Quite an intense porter. Has a strong smoky and spicy smell. The body has a lot of chocolate and surprises with a lot of chili heat. Leaves you with a slight burnt bitterness and a nice chili afterglow. Definitely worth a taste!

Keg at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Dark brown, minimal head. Chocolaty nose with some bell pepper. Mid sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Some chocolate, then all chili. Not much smoke, mainly heat. Not balanced.
