Draft. A dark amber beer with a huge lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of caramel, hops, citrus frits, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, straw, and citrus fruits, leading to a dry finish. The body is light.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A decent but not exceptional red ale, not as good as the Five Points’ Red Rye. Quite astringent, some grass mulch, a lingering bitterness without the sweetness to balance it. A touch of red fruit also.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAR 16, 2016 Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy amber body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of strawberry, orange, caramel and wood. Flavour of toffee apple, blood orange, coffee, grass and strawberry. Thin to medium body with a slick, oily texture. Light fizz. A rich, juicy Amber Ale, with a nice fruity hop character than others I’ve tried. It’s quite complex for 4.6% ABV - I’d love to try a stronger version.
