Bottle at home, cask at Sheffield Tap 20/07/11. Hoppy amber ale? Get in there! It’s an almost-there beer; caramel is spiked with slight spice, finish is dry and not cloying, flavours assertive and not clashing, hops prominent but not dominant. Just up everything another notch on the dial, lads, and you’ve got an amber that everyone will want to clone.

Cask at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe. Amber with a moderate off-white head. Big fresh hop taste of pine and berries and orange well balanced against sweet malts. Great full-flavoured beer.

Apr 2015 - Keg at Draft House. Dark amber, sparkling, slight haze, small white head, light lacing. Aroma is sweet and syrupy caramel, flowery hop. Body is medium, tingly carbonation, pretty smooth. Taste is tangy hop, dry hop flowers, sweet toffee, grassy bitterness. Nice.

31.7.2014. Dark amber colour. Aroma of orange hops, grass, pine Palate is soft, low carbonation. Tastes ripe fruits, earthy hops, pine, caramel malts. Despite low abv and real ale style this is tasty.

Vestergaard (698) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - FEB 12, 2015
Tap at Borefts Beer Festival 2014. Pours a clear reddish amber with a big, off white head. Aroma is pretty fruity with cranberries and some weed, red berries, pine and hops. Taste is smooth, gentle hop bitterness, hop fruity, again some sweet, ripe, dark red berries. Pretty nice, but fairly low carbonation. Smooth body despite the low abv.
