Rapture is our full bodied, heavenly hoppy red beer. 5 types of malt and 6 types of hops make for a truly elating experience. Uplifting aromas of grapefruit and pine, combine with a pithy orange and pronounced citrus flavour which is balanced against a deeply rich and malty body. A satisfyingly dry and crisp finish offers your taste buds redemption. Our red ale will take you to heaven and back…

On tap@Wildeman. Aroma has citrus, some toffee and is slightly herbal. Bit hazy, brown coloured with an off white head. The taste is moderate bitter with citric hops, hint of toffee. Light - medium body and easy drinking.

33cl bottle thanks to Chris Mair! Pours light chestnut with an orange hue. There is a nice head but it mostly disappears in the first couple of minutes. The nose has some raisin malt but is mostly pine and grapefruit pith. The taste has more grapefruit and pith with not sweet malt to talk of. The palate has a medium body and texture with a very fresh and zingy finish. Overall, it’s a good beer for the hopheads, but it needs a little more malt sweetness for me, so it is very flavoursome but lacks balance.

Bottle. Bronze with a small creamy head.Hoppy with a bitter finish. Lots of body considering its strength and surprisingly complex. Another good one from this brewery.

From keg@Haand ŘlFestival 2012. Unclear reddish amber body. A finger-thick blond lace on top. Fresh citrus-zesty hop aroma with some leafy and light resnious tones. Taste is surely hop driven. Lemony hop flavor. Notes of resin, green leaves and pineapple. Light and dryish malt body. Medium full. Lingering bitterness in the finish. Drinks good, sessionable.

On tap at Schouskjelleren. Hazy amber with an off-white to beige head. Hoppy aroma with citrus, caramel, pine, tropical fruit, malt and hint of spices. Light to medium sweet with medium bitterness. Finish is bitter, a bit dry and quite citric. Medium body. Well balanced. Lots of flavour and a very good session beer. Refreshing and easy to drink with a long aftertaste with fruit, citrus and a decent bitterness.

(Magic Rock Rapture) From cask at Borefts ’14 Amber red colour on the body, thick tall creamy head, with good retention, leaving heavy lacing on the glass. Aroma has light manure, a bit floral too. Taste is floral, with light citrus, maybe some thyme or rosemary, good bitterness, definitely more complex than the aroma. Low carbonation, thin body. Okay beer, quite drinkable actually.
