On tap at the brewery, orange and lightly hazy with a lacy head. Big pine nose, big dry hoppy palate with strong grapefruit bitterness, but nicely balanced with malt.

On tap at Haand Festival 2012 Dark amber color, big creamy beige head. Fruity and grassy aroma, hoppy taste too with lots of fruit very well combined with the malt profile. Lovely bitterness and finish.

Pours copper red with well retained creamy head. Big tropical fruit aroma with caramel malt. Tate is big fruity hop wollop with nice caramel toffee backbone. Very very tasty. Can’t help but compare this to 5 am saint. Is it better? Depends which day you get the 5 am saint.

Bottle from Coppers in Newcastle. A deep ruby red coloured beer with strong orange marmalade, red fruity and sherbet flavours, hoppiness, red fruits again and a bitter slight woody finish.

(Magic Rock Rapture) From cask at Borefts ’14 Amber red colour on the body, thick tall creamy head, with good retention, leaving heavy lacing on the glass. Aroma has light manure, a bit floral too. Taste is floral, with light citrus, maybe some thyme or rosemary, good bitterness, definitely more complex than the aroma. Low carbonation, thin body. Okay beer, quite drinkable actually.

Draughts at The White Horse (London). Very well balanced indeed, was popular around the table. Good enough to pull me away from the good cask selection for a couple of pints.

Red color. Medium-sized off-white to khaki head. Little bit of lacing after it quickly falls. Huge hoppy, citrusy aroma. Little bit of malt. Slight watered down malt flavor. A little hop flavor and bitterness. Decent.

On tap at Hanging Bat, Edinburgh. Kind of like an IPA. Red, but with a lot of nice bitter hops. Enjoyable.

Draft at Churchkey. Clear chestnut pour, small white head. Nose and flavor hold notes of marzipan, caramel, toast, biscuit, orange peel and pine. Smooth and creamy, softer carbonation on the palate. Balanced, really nice.

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2014 25.05.2013, tap @ HaandFestival:
Small creamy shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly neutral, wet leafs, hops, dried fruits, grass. Taste is slightly watery and harsh, leafs, grass, hops, pine needles, wood. Longlasting bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Fair enough.
