3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle. Lively pour, amber brown body, dirty white thin head. Aroma is a combination of simcoe, cascade, grapefruit. Taste is high bitterness, straight from the hops! It largely evades the palate, apart from the odd sharp crisp tingle. Long bitter grapefruit finish. Overall the aroma wins it for me. Not bad at all, but would like a bit of a softer edge on the finish.
I drank this standing in my kitchen over a boiling pot of water.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Off cask. Very pale for an amber ale. A slightly less hoppy version of 5am saint but still nice.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Beautiful clear red, with a thin, though quickly diminishing, off-white head. Citrus aroma, orange and grapefruit, some pine. Sweet with a bitter finish. Thin oily texture, low carbonation. Good, but II think it looked a lot better than it actually tasted.

On tap at Magic Rock launch night, North Bar, Leeds. Pours a very nice red with. Aroma of sweetness and hops, very nicely balanced, actually. Taste is toffee-ish, with lots of hops. Very nicely balanced. Fruity, too. Drinkable. Very nice and balanced, though I prefer the fuller taste of 5AM Saint.

It looks great - lovely chestnut colour and a nice, but quick dying head. Perhaps it was because I had it after the Cannonball and High Wire, but it found it a bit lightweight. There were some toffee notes in there and a bit of toffee/caramel taste, and itís not a bad beer by any stretch of the imagination, itís just that my personal taste runs to hoppy, often US beers.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
It has a colloidal appearance and a think head with mild carbonation. Lovely hoppy beer with a rich orange kick coupled with a hint of astringent pine. A really lovely and balanced beer.

Cask @ Brudenell, Leeds. Ruby red body. Citric orange/grapefruit notes, pine and sweet malts on the nose. Caramel/biscuit notes come to the fore in the taste, providing a solid backbone for the tangy hops. Slightly oily mouthfeel. Great session beer.
