Cask at CBC, London. Dark amber pour with a light, tan head. Has a big, raw and fresh hop aroma, some grapefruit and pine. Medium sweet with toasty malts, lots of bitterness, very resinous pine, mild earth, some grapefruit, light grass. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sticky, resiny hop finish, some toasted sugars and malts, justs lots of raw hops. I love this stuff.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bittter fnish. Slightly rustic. Oily palate. Powerfull.

Bottle at omhpers tasting 110930. Golden beer, offwhite head. Berry aroma, grassy and sweetish. Hoppy flavor, grassy and with metal notes, some berries.

Cask conditioned at Harbury Beer Fest ’11. Hazed reddish amber with slight head. Full on fruity, hoppy, citrusy beer, there is a decent malty bittersweet body delivering some lovely hoppy flavours, grapefruit and lemon to the fore. A very pleasant beer and my beer of this festival.

Superfull sweet pungent hoppy aroma. Sweetness is balanced though. Full palate. Very fruity in the mouth. Long tingly bitter finish - very long. Good rich bitter.

Cask conditioned Handpump Old Fountain London. A dark brown to red coloured beer with a whitish bubbly head. Toasty malts and fruity hops in the big nose. Lovely hop/malt/fruit mix in the mouth. A long finish. Big flavours. Very good.

Bottle. Copper, red with a beige bubbly foam. Aromas are toffee and red berries with cream and floral notes. Woody with some burnt toast. Flavours are sweet, earthy berries with background toffee malts. Pretty dry and peppery with yeast on the finish and grapefruit pith bitterness. Decent.

Lightly hazed dark amber with reddish hues. Thin off white head that retains well. Great lacing ensues.
Pine forward nose, caramel malt, light soap.
Taste is big on pine, bitter hops, caramel backbone.
Medium bodied with soft fine carbonation leading to a bitter dry finish.
