Rapture is our full bodied, heavenly hoppy red beer. 5 types of malt and 6 types of hops make for a truly elating experience. Uplifting aromas of grapefruit and pine, combine with a pithy orange and pronounced citrus flavour which is balanced against a deeply rich and malty body. A satisfyingly dry and crisp finish offers your taste buds redemption. Our red ale will take you to heaven and back…

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 10/02/2012. Deep amber with a slight white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, pine resin and a touch of caramel. Sweet malt flavours upfront, followed by grapefruit and pineapple and a dry finish with more pine. Enjoyable.

Keg at The Southern. Pours clear reddish-brown with a chunky white head. Herbal hops aromas, and the lemon end of citrus too. Some caramel. Sweetness first on the tongue, but then lots of hop bitterness. A touch too fizzy for me, but a very nice beer overall.

Medium beige head. Hazy opaque reddish amber body. Catty minty aroma with resiny citric notes. Dry-bitter resiny wooden taste with fruity citric notes. Mid-bodied. Astringent mouthfeel. Dry wooden grapefruit aftertaste with spicy resiny notes. Long finish lingers. Nice, but a bit harsh. (0.15l sample, Haand Beer 2012.)

Oldham Beer Festival. Hazy deep red with a small head. Has a high sweet hopped nose and a gritty texture that subdues the tropical fruit notes.
