UPDATED: FEB 2, 2012 Thanks Craig for sharing this bottle. Had this alongside the High Wire and Cannonball. An orange-red amber ale with a lacy white head. Aromas of pineapple, caramel, toffee and some pepper. Caramel flavour also, quite nutty, some fruits- passionfruit and orange again. A bit yeasty. OK.

Bottle at home. Deep copper amber pour, small bubbly tan head. Nose is big pine, grapefruit. Hint of toffee. Delightful smooth caramel on the taste, quickly matched by lovely, massively refreshing orange/grapefruit hops. Really nicely balanced, good hoppy session beer. Yum.

From cask. Pours dark orange to brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, grapefruity, peachy and citrusy hoppy. Crisp bitter, fruity and subdued sweet. Bitter and lingering floral fruity into a dry and peachy to grapefruity hoppy finish.

On tap at Craft Beer. Slightly hazy amber beer. Tiny white head. Smooth low carbonation palate. Lots of piney fresh hops. Trace of sulphur. Smooth finish. Decent enough, lacking a little body. Original rating 3.3.

Hazy red-brown beer, little off white head. Light dry palate. Good malt backbone with a very light trace of smoke. Nice red fruits, some orange fruit too. Semi dry finish with a mildly bitter aftertaste.

330ml bottle with Ben. Tastes like a 5am Saint with a less subtle hop profile. In a good way. Could do with a shot in the arm alcohol-wise.

Bottle, The Beer Emporium, Sandbach. Aromas of soft malts and citrus hops, very little head but enough lacing. Not too hoppy, the malts seem to dominate although it is a well balanced beer. Was expecting a little more from this beer, but overall not bad.

More class from Magic Rock. As usual, highly hopped, malty and rich. Citrus and bitter.

Tap at William IV (Magic Rock takeover) 10/12/12. Lightly hazed dark amber with reddish hues. Thin off white head that retains well. Great lacing ensues. Pine forward nose, caramel malt, light soap. Taste is big on pine, bitter hops, caramel backbone. Medium bodied with soft fine carbonation leading to a bitter dry finish. Decent.
