330ml bottle with Ben. Tastes like a 5am Saint with a less subtle hop profile. In a good way. Could do with a shot in the arm alcohol-wise.

Half pint on draught at Reading Beer Festival 2012. Dark copper colour, bubbly head. Hopped, grapefruit aroma, lovely. Pleasant, well rounded and nicely hopped.

On tap at HaandBryggeriet Beer Festival. Reddish brown colour, moderate white head. Strong aroma of piney and resinous American hops, hints of grapefruit and catpiss. The flavour is also hoppy with resinous and piney notes.

33cl bottle. Pours deep hazy amber/red with thin white head - plenty of lacing. Aroma is primarily grapefruit, bit of pine, citrus fruits (orange peel), slight funkiness. Taste is well balanced between the bitter citric hop notes (grapefruit) and the deep, rich, smooth caramel malt. Could maybe do with a bit of bumping up in the ABV department, but, as it is, it is a near-sessionable red ale, packed full of flavour.

330 ml bottle.
Pours a deep amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma of really strong tangy hops, orange peel and lemon zest. Again, flavour of strong hops, astrigent, gooseberries, biscuity malts, caramel and orange peel. Medium bodied, rough mouthfeel and a rough, strong bitter finish. 4,6% ABV greatness.

On draft @ HaandBryggeriet Beer festival 2012. Hazy deep orange body with a small off-white head. Very nice hoppy aroma of grapefruit, pine and some oranges. Flavor is sweet, bitter and citric fruity with grapefruit and pine on a caramel malt base. Relatively light bodied, still strong in flavor and a fine bitterness. A bit more bitterness in aftertaste. Very nice and impressive at this ABV.

From keg@Haand ØlFestival 2012. Unclear reddish amber body. A finger-thick blond lace on top. Fresh citrus-zesty hop aroma with some leafy and light resnious tones. Taste is surely hop driven. Lemony hop flavor. Notes of resin, green leaves and pineapple. Light and dryish malt body. Medium full. Lingering bitterness in the finish. Drinks good, sessionable.

Tap at William IV (Magic Rock takeover) 10/12/12. Lightly hazed dark amber with reddish hues. Thin off white head that retains well. Great lacing ensues. Pine forward nose, caramel malt, light soap. Taste is big on pine, bitter hops, caramel backbone. Medium bodied with soft fine carbonation leading to a bitter dry finish. Decent.
