COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ringmaster NZ is an all New Zealand hopped version of our flagship pale ale Ringmaster. Same ABV, same defined malty character but with a deliciously moreish tropical hop character derived from 5 different NZ hop varieties. Expect Passion Fruit, and Lychee on the nose along with bright sauvignon-esque Gooesberry flavours on the palate. Its Ringmaster the same but different…

NOTE: this beer previously existed as Curious NZ. The recipe has not changed. The beer has just undergone a rebranding.

Cask, handpump at The Grove, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, Friday 14th February 2014 Pours pale lemony gold, soft and quite subtle initially. Looks good but totally overwhelmed by Brodies Black Chinook Coffee IPA. This did not carry the punch I expected it too, nice but not great. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Cask at Craft Clapham, Dec 13. A blast of New Zealand hops, fruity, but yet a bit tired. I think this would be better in a keg version.

BenH (2162) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 31, 2014
Cask at Craft. Golden with whote head that disappears completely. Aroma os resinous and gummy with boscuit and a little butter. Taste is quite bicuity with some citrus, melon and butter. Quite dry. Not a big fan

maneliquor (3005) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JAN 25, 2014
Cask at CBC Clerkenwell. Pours clear golden with a bubbly white cap which is quickly gone. Nose is practically the same as the original sitting next to me. Maybe a slight note of passionfruit. Taste is a little more biscuit driven with more zest. Not bad

Garrold (1115) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2014
Cask at Sheffield Tap. Clear gold, thin, white, lasting head. Sticks to the glass. Bonny looking. Tropical fruit. Lychee is distinct. Sweet, slightly sticky palate. Light bitterness at the end. Long session friendly.

BeerViking (2305) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 16, 2013
Cask at the Magpie, amber-gold with a lasting white head, tropical fruit and cut greenery on the nose, slight initial sweetness is swept away by dry herbal or vegetal bitterness, some juicy malt and a little citrus underneath but very much bitterness-forward and a bit acrid in the finish.

Theydon_Bois (7935) - The ’Sham, Surrey, ENGLAND - DEC 13, 2013
Cask at Craft Clapham, opening night, 06/12/13. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose carries a citric twinge, dank hop breath, mandarin, straw, touch of piss. Taste comprises dankish hoppings, orange pith, light grapefruit notes, citric straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, grassy hop laden bitterings at lights out. Solid hop forward sessionable GB affair.

kwik-lime (1241) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 5, 2013
Cask at CASK in Pimlico - drunk as Ringmaster NZ, apparently the new name for this beer. Dry grassy hops, a touch of fruit, enjoyable and drinkable beer.

Cask at CBC Clerkenwell. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is herbal, fruity, wooden and also rather malty. Flavoour is fruity, wooden, nectary and caramely. A bit awkward.
