COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A beer both sumptuously malty yet enthrallingly hoppy, we teamed up with our friends at Dark Star for this show stopper of a beer. Multiple hop additions mean massive aromas of lemongrass, strawberry and pine, which develop on the palate while a complex malt bill delivers sweet waves of hazelnut, caramel and summer berry flavours. The finish is balanced, moreish yet crisply classy. Get ready to be entertained, Rock Star has entered the building!

Cask at Cask Pub and Kitchen, Pimlico, London. A deep amber coloured pour with a medium fluffy white head on top. Nice hoppy, sweet fruity aroma. Tastes hoppy, malty, caramel, quite sweet, fruity. Really easy drinking. Quite a surprise, wasn’t expecting a collaborative brew to turn out so good.

Keg at North Bar, Leeds (from a backlog of ratings I meant to upload ages ago, but managed to forget). Pours a chestnut brown, finger of head. Aroma is impressively hoppy, with some chocolate and nuttiness too. Taste is similar, with a big fruity hop character and a good malt backbone to balance it, with chocolate, nuttiness and a bit of woodiness too. Bitter finish. Mmm.

Cask@Cask Pub & Kitchen, London. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is mildly smoked wood, some ripe berries, herbs and quite floral as well. Flavour is wood, fruits, caramel, dark fruits and some nice bitterness as well.

Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, London. Clear mahogany colour. Intense tropical fruit hop aroma. Medium-full body with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Some butter and caramel, plenty of pears and kiwi. Massivem somewhat inky bitterness. Heavy and compact.

Keg North Bar Leeds. A chestnut coloured beer with a loose bubbly off-white coloured head. Delicious fruity hops in the nose with doses of chocolate. Samie in the mouth. Great fruity hops which go on forever with bready and chocolatey malts. Big alcohol and massive flavours. To be a bit critical there is too much sweetness which stops it from being world class but it’s still very good.

Tap at cask. Pours dark amber red with white head. Welcoming aroma of hops and chocolate. Taste is the same, chocolate and fruity hops. Quite sweet but big with a bitter finish. Excellent

Cask. Deep brown color with a whispy, caramel color head. The nose is a bit spicy, with bready toasted malts and cherries. The taste is much hoppier than I was expecting given the appearance and nose. It’s a nice suprise, this is a sharp, dry beast that’s more complex than it appears. The mouthfeel’s medium, with subtle carbonation.

Cask handpull at Craft Beer Co. That is incredible. If i hadnt known i would have sworn this was american. Its incredible. Best thing to come out of huddersfield ever are the beers from this brewery. Hops hops and more hops with a sweet malt base. Brilliant.

Cask at CP&K. It pours deep mahogany brown, with a big beige head. The nose is fresh hop, lots of pine, resin and leaf. The taste is pine, resin, sweet orange citrus, burnt malt, smoke, nut, caramel and bonfire, with a big bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Tasty stuff.

Off tap at Sheffield tap. Pours caramel red with medium head. Really complex, hops and tonnes of caramel with a bitter coffee finish. Very tasty.
