A collaboration brew with Kissmeyer Beer. A traditional German style Gose, flavoured with Gooseberries, Sea Buckthorn and Sea Salt. Tart, lightly sour, fruity and refreshing with a defined saltiness, excellent accompaniment to food.

Pale straw, cloudy, with a scummy head. Very dull aroma, just a bit dusty, maybe a hint of peach. Smooth full palate, but with some fizz that just stops it from being actually slimy. Water, minerally, a bit of dirt. That’s the taste in a nutshell - pretty crap to be honest. Some berry sweetness. Guessing from the name this is pretending to be a Gose. I don’t particularly like gose. But this makes the ones I’ve had seem good. Where’s the wheat? Where’s the lactic acid? Where’s the salt? Where’s the gose? Nope. Not gonna bother finishing the glass, life’s too short for bad beer.

This poured a hazy golden yellow color with a white head. Aroma was light berries, wheaty grain, light lemon limy brettish character. Flavor was similar, lemon limey, salinity, some berries. Tasty.

Tap. Brewhouse, Sheffield. Cloudy, dark yellow. Bubbly, lasting, white head. Fruity, yeasty, and bready. Citrus. Lemon sherbet. Ripe gooseberry. Taste is dry, light sweet. Palate is crisp, and slightly tart. Super refreshing. Finishes light dry, and crisp tart. Any salt is at the end, on the lips. Could drink this all day.

At Borefts 2014. Hazy golden. Salty, sweet and sour all at the same time. This is something else. Fruity, lemonade, not a bad taste, but really weard.

4oz on tap at Ei8ht Ball. Totally hazy golden orange color, with particles in the body. Kind of a bubbly off-white head. Dots of lace. Definitely a big sea-like saltiness and brininess... Moderate sweet taste, mild to moderate salty, light bit of tart. Medium body. Kind of slick. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Some mild gooseberry, and other hints of fruitiness. Get some of the lemonade that GT2 was talking about. Fun, interesting gose.

>> Cloudy full haze mango juice pour with thick white foam. Refreshing lemonade taste, clean and lighter bodied. Not very salty, nuanced and highly drinkable. Funky lemonade nose. Liked.
