330ml can bought at CitySuper in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Clear golden honey colour with small chunks of yeast particles; Less than one-quarter finger head with soapy white foam which fades in 15 seconds; Fairly good sticky lacing active carbonation; Light aroma of light malt, with light wheat, light lacto tartness, light gooseberry, sour fruit pulps, floral, light sugar and lemon; Light taste of maltyness, with medium lacto tartness, light saltyness, very light molasses, yeast, lemon, light bitter hops and very light grass; Medium body. Slick palate; Mouth Feel is very light maltyness in a thick and slightly soapy background. Wheatyness is light, saltyness is very thin, lacto tartness is really low-fi than most Goses, nor thereís any gooseberries or sea buckthorn to speak of. Only some lemon round up some thin floral with sweet notes. Ho-hum!... Hoppiness is light lemon in nose and taste; Bitterness is very low for an abrupt, faint astringent low-tart finish; Slightly dry after taste. Low tart and fairly easy to mouth.

Comments: This oneís fruity aroma is way too light, and the near-invisible wheat and lacto tartness failed to make any impression. Whatís this, a diet Gose? Stay away!

Iím very fond of this. Light and crisp on the taste buds. Very pleasantly sour. I was unsure hiw Iíd take the saltiness but it works. Had in a 330ml can but would love to try it on draught from a fresh barrel. I could glug a fee on a sunny day!

Itís exactly as described on the can - slightly sour, fruity, refreshing - a damn good drink with a lick of saline in there - itís lightweight as expected and not very beer flavoured but so what. Still better than lager any day. A fun quaffer.

Tap. Basement funk and sock.pours lemon gold and tastes like a lemon Alco pop. But itís certainly fruity and salty. For my palate itís a beer to go in the"live and learn" column of life. £2.40 for a half. Oh that hurt.

Can 33cl, nose is light on fruits and sour notes. Aroma is on watery berries, light sourness and lactic notes, soapy, acid fruits. Less complex, just refreshing, correct for a summer beer, salty notes difficult to detect.

Can from supermarket. Pours hazy orange color with one finger white head. Aroma is hoppy and fruity, has some berries on it. Taste is sour, salty, sweet because of gooseberry. Very interesting and very good.

From a can. Very dry and light bodied with pleasant sour finish, lots of fruit flavours going on, not bad.
