A collaboration brew with Kissmeyer Beer. A traditional German style Gose, flavoured with Gooseberries, Sea Buckthorn and Sea Salt. Tart, lightly sour, fruity and refreshing with a defined saltiness, excellent accompaniment to food.

The aroma was very mild with some coriander and salt to it. The appearance was a cloudy golden orange color with some light head. The taste was fairly sweet at first then opens into some light tart, sourness with a hint of salt. definitely had a berry flavor to it that really helped with the tartness. The body is light to medium bodied with a creamy texture. Overall pretty good would have liked it to be a little less sweet and more tart but good none the less.

Keg at the southern. Hazy yellow with a thin long-lasting head. Aromas of grapefruit and salt. Taste is sour, but nowhere near as sour as the lime version. Creamy texture, good carbonation. Finishes short, but a good palate cleanser.

On tap at BrewDog Manchester. Hazy yellowy orange with a thin white cap. Light medicinal, fruity aroma. Lots of carbonation on the tongue and an whirlpool of fruit; also not nearly as sour as I expected. I could taste some salt in the finish but who knows, maybe that could be placebo. An interesting beer but a bit of a let down.

August 20, 2013 - on hand-pull cask at Old Fountain. Cloudy orange-gold with a small lasting white head. Slightly salty aroma, light sweet grain, floral bitterness. Taste follows, tart salty fruit, light alcohol. Light body, a little tart persimmon, salty and tasty. Solid acidic body, good life, quick finish. A nice one.

Keg at North Bar, Leeds. Pours a pale, hazy yellow, very small head. Aroma is grapefruit/gooseberry tartness, some lagery hops with a little bit of banana too. Taste is gorgeous - the salt and tartness hit you but neither are overpowering. Lemony notes are also there. Medium bodied, just right CO2 sparkle, and very refreshing. Such a complex but drinkable little beauty!

On Tap at Pizzeria Paradiso. Hazy orange pour. Aroma is light fruit, some sharp lactic tartness. Flavor is similar, but the salt just brightens it right up. Crisp refreshing tasty beer.

Very hazy golden amber color. No head, salty wheat nose. Salty, carbonated, hay, dried fruit and leather notes exude in the mouth. Medium body, refreshing. Not as tart as I was expecting, but what balance and flavor. Very unique. Fantastic beer.

Draft at BrewDog Camden, London on 13 July 2013. Poured a hazy yellow with a thin white head. Grainy, slightly yeasty aroma with a hint of brine. Flavours of brown bread malts mixed tart gooseberry and other unripened fruit. A little of that brininess on the palate.

Keg @ BrewDog (5% abv). Hazy light brown, not much head. Leafy resin aroma. Rather weird bitter sweet chewing gum flavour. Sweet and dry aftertaste. Never had one like this before.

Sampled at THE FESTIVAL 2013 in Maine with Andrew, Jay and Kramer. Pours a hazy goldne body with nice white lacing. Aroma is wheat, salt, light funky fruit and lemon. Mouthfeel is medium and super sessionable; notes of salty wheat, lemon, funky berries, light tartness and toast. Great.
