COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Keg, regular
Session IPA.
A beer lacking in alcohol can’t be really flavourful as well can it? Common sense says it won’t have a big aroma full of passion fruit and mango; it wouldn’t have a well rounded mouth feel and crisp bitterness and there’s no way it’d have satisfying IPA style depth of flavour…. is there? Think again, this is a beer totally devoid of common sense, the jester in the pack, a complete Simpleton…”

Keg @Cimmeria, Oviedo. 27-04-2016.
In short: fruity low alcohol bitter ale.
Pours quite clear golden with nice frothy white head, Moderate head retention, some lacing. Mango, peachy nose, very noticeable. Medium to light body, average carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is moderate bitter, dry, fruity. Nice flavours for the low abv(3º in this case). Good brew.

Beerfest at Furnace Inn, cask, half-pint shared with Finn. Naked surface, poor lacing. Close to clear dark golden body. Malt-fruity aromas, citrus peel and brown malts. Taste of apricot, orange and mango on a mild backbone of caramel sweetness. Thin bodied, not diluted though. Session drink, indeed. (Derby 21.02.2016).

Fra fat på Furnace i Derby 21 Feb 16. Delt med Rune. Amber. Skum langs glasset. Fruktsaftaktig. Bra ferskenaroma. Smaken tørket frukt. Veldig tørr & uvariert.

Draught@CBC2015. Amber colour with a small fluffy white head. Aroma is fruity and floral hops, mild herbs, spices, sweet malts as well as some toffee. Flavour is quite similar, but has a quite big bitter touch to it. Still refreshing and easy to drink. A bit thin as for the palate. Still a nice brew considering the low abv.

suurjuust (2582) - ESTONIA - JAN 22, 2016
Slightly hazy pale amber, medium white head. Nose is citric, mango, mild sweetness. Flavor is malty, very mild toast and caramel, water, malt, diesely hops, mild bitterness in the finish with mango. Lingering tropical fruit and hop bitterness. Has a few watery moments, but decent flavor gor the ABV.

Pleasant fruity hoppy aroma. Golden orange, tight head. Watery palate, carbonation crisp. Probably US ale yeast, as it has that plasticky stickiness. Lots of fruits, mango and peach. Sweetish. A bit boring and dead. Lacking malt, lacking beer.

I can see why I might not have liked it so much last time, but deep down it’s not so bad. Was recognisably beery this time, both malt and hops, and not too sweet. Palate light and a little watery, but refreshing.

Tap. Clear amber color. Small size, thin beige head, stays. Faint citrus, sweetish, faint pine needles and bit of saf- yeast in aroma. Pine needles, sweetish, mellow citrus in aroma. Nice long lasting mellow citrus in aftertaste. Soft bitterness and carbonation. Nice light body. Despite of low alcohol it doesn’t feel watery. Quite pleasant brew.

Had like 3 of this in a row at Speakeasy by Põhjala - that goes to show I must have enjoyed it, and indeed I did, despite the very subtle aroma and light, nearing watery body and flat carbonation. Fruity, tropical, grassy overall impression. My idea of a pretty nice random background beer to accompany some great music and friends.

Tap. Pours golden with whiteish head. The small head stays for a second. Aroma is hoppy, fruits, mango, slight cat piss. Flavor is sweet and bitter, tropical fruits, mango, citrus, some popcorn. Body is very watery. Overall: don’t like the style (hoppy watery), so don’t really enjoy this one.
