COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
limited keg and 660ml bottles, special
Once a year we receive the latest crop of hops from the US, intensely aromatic and bursting with potential they’re begging to be put to work. With three times the quantity of hops of our explosive IPA ‘Cannonball’ and even more than our flagship Double IPA ‘Human Cannonball’ we’ve created a fitting tribute to the new hop release with this our annual homage to the hop. ‘Un-Human Cannonball ‘takes IPA to another dimension balancing massive citric aroma, deep tropical fruit flavor and gravity defying drinkability to deliver a hop experience that is out of this world. We’ve done our best for the hops don’t let them down by aging this beer, please drink as soon as Un-Humanly possible!

Pours clear golden amber with low white head. Aroma of mango, grapefruit, resin, an explosion of tropic fruit. Taste is big resin bitter and fruit sweet, balanced but slightly boozy. Yet very drinkable considering the ABV. Body is medium to rich with soft carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

660 ml. bottle. Very excited to try this rare treat. Thanks Richard! It pours a very clear golden orange color with a white head. The aroma is piney with apricots and honey; also some more subtle fruity notes of mango and peach. The flavor is thick and resinous with pine, honey, florals and peach. The body is oily, but not syrupy at all. The malts come across as honeyed and not caramel or sugary. Great hop character as well. This compares favorably to some of the best triple IPA’s I’ve had including Pliny the Younger. Great stuff.

66 cl bottle (11% abv). BBE 08/2014. Thanks lusikka!
Pours clear golden color with head. Aroma is very appealing with resinous hops, a bit oily even, exotic fruits, caramel and some pine needles. Flavor of exotic fruits, orange zest, resinous hops, caramel and hay. Not that bitter but the alcohol is heavily present, not in a disturbing way though. Excellent.

660 ml bottle. 2014 version, 11% ABV. Thanks me, myself & I. Pours a golden colour with a white foamy head. Aroma is very heavy with citrusy bitterness, mango, orange juice and pineapple. Rich flavour of citrusy bitterness, alcohol, pineapple, tropical fruits, grass and sweet caramel. Full bodied and very thick mouthfeel. Heavy, long, warming and bitter finish. Could use even more bitterness, or maybe this isn’t as fresh as it’s supposed to be. ABV is just right.

660ml bottle, thanks lusikka!

2014 edition, 11.0% ABV. BBE AUG 2014 - Pours clear orange with some hop particles and a foamy head. Aroma has massive amounts of fresh resinous hops, pine, caramely malts, exotic fruits and grapefruits. Taste is fresh hoppy, resinous and piney with some caramely malts, exotic fruits and grapefruits. Finish is smooth, sweetish and resinous hoppy but surprisingly not very bitter, with loads of pine and warming alcohol. Quite smooth and heavy DIPA with loads of resinous hops. Tasty and fresh, but could’ve used some more bitterness.

66 cl bottle @ home, BBE 08/2014. Thanks lusikka!
Aroma has strong hops, gooseberry bush and exotic fruits. Also some gluey tones. Flavour has aggressive hops with gooseberry bush, some caramel, fruits and gluey tones. Also some pineapple juice and alcohol is present. Nice, but I expected more.

Tap at Brewdog, Sheffield. 11%. Lightly hazy, golden colour. Thin, lasting, white head. Aroma of pineapple and lime jelly. Clementine, too. Taste is marmalade sweet, first off, then restrained bitterness. Smooth, creamy palate. Alcohol warmth is evident. The clementine pops up again, at the end, along with a long, gentle bitterness on the finish. Dangerously drinkable!

UPDATED: APR 24, 2014 Golden body, with small fleeting off-white head. Aroma is wonderfully intense. Fresh dank hops, grapefruit, mango, pine, some sweet caramel malt. Soft carbonation, with silky medium/full body. Quite sweet initial burst, with peach, citrus, pine, alcohol before a moderate-bitterness takes hold. Very dank. Sweet malt balances the beer beautifully. A little short on the finish for my palate but lovely nevertheless. Nice and fresh in taste and flavor. Chewy and luscious, with a slight nudge from the alcohol. Quality big beer. Did not disappoint.
