Tried at Craft beer Co. Very worried about my state of mind after drinking this but I threw caution to the wind. Delicious beer, nothing i’m used to but at my age worthtrying everything, very hoppy. Had a lovely sleep after trying this.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Keg at Craft Beer Co Islington. It pours cloudy golden with a medium white head. The nose is big pine, sticky orange, peach, nectarine, sticky, earth, marmalade, touch of farmyard, spice and faint anise. The taste is pine, bucket loads of citrus... orange, peach, apricot, rather obvious alcohol, resinous, varnish, marmalade and a touch of spice with a bitter-sweet finish. Full body, moderate carbonation and oily, sticky mouth-feel. Pretty big all-round and pretty tasty, but lacks the drinkable of some of the top "triple IPAs". I would probably rather hit up the regular human cannonball.

My first review so apologies for the lack detail, I was little it worried when it didn’t seem to clear after a few days but reading the other reviews then this is normal, a slight alcohol burn at the very back of your throat, a small sip gives a load of flavour over the tongue, an intense aroma with spice notes, orange look to it, head disappears quite quickly but a quick swirl in the glass and it reappears, my rating may seem low but I’ve enjoyed very much so if you can track it down then give it a go (picked it up from the Lads at Cotteridge Wines, put me one to the side, cheers Lads) 660ml Bottle

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Keg at bat. Cloudy orange with little off white head. nice aroma, little cheesy, pine, orange, mango, citrus. Flavour is a little resinous, pine, mango, some fruity alcohol notes, vodka. Quite bitter but not as much as I would have hoped. Alcohol is there but not unpleasant. Not as intense as I was hoping for. Dangerously drinkable. Decent

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, hazy amber pour with medium white head, piney and citrus aroma, tropical hop taste, orange, mango very sweet, resinous not cloying the high ABV doesn’t present itself, bit rubbery, I’ve not seen the emperors bollocks but what I’ve experienced is a quality.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Bottle brought back to Yorkshire from the launch at Craft Co. Slightly hazy, very fresh new age hop aroma citrus, tropical fruit, mango, floral, fresh cut grass and slightly spicy/herby.Rich body, slightly syrup like, oily followed by amazing hop flavours. Slight bitterness could do with more bitterness but it tastes so fresh, sweetish caramalt-like finish .Reminds me very much of The Kernel Breweries stronger beers. Looking forward to next years version.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Keg in Craft Islington. Lovely deep orange colour, white head. Nose big sticky citrous fruit with mango, orange, tangerine and grapefruit alongside caramel malt and marmalade sweetness. I’m picking up a tiny bit of new sneaker’s/rubbery plastic as well which isn’t so pleasant. Taste is bitter citrous, sweet tropical fruit, sticky marmalade and a tiny bit of that new sneakers rubberiness that occasionally seems to get into American IPAs and Double IPAs.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Keg at the launch event CBC Islington. Cloudy orange golden colour. Thick sticky cream head. Big bold resin pine nose with sweet orange and mango. Thick sticky resinous palete. Medium carbed. Flavour is more of the same bold hop explosion. Alcohol warm comes through in the finish with assertive but smooth bitterness. Hides the alcohol well, but still kicks you in the ass.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at the launch event, Craft Islington, 15/05/13 @ 15.58 - 2nd served but first to drink - oh yeah !
Murky golden amber with a thin white head.
Nose is bif on juicy hops, pine, ripe mango, bitter orange and grapefruit, caramel, burnt grass.
Taste comprises bitter tropical fruits, resinous hop goodness, sugars, caramel malts.
Full bodied, fine carbonation - pitche well to keep this big boy drinkable, a little sticky but not cloying, sweet boozey finish.
Godd stuff, a little on the sweet side as one would expect but the bitterness and carbonation level keeps this a very easy drinker for the ABV, the alcohol is well integrated.
To the next time !

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Keg at CBC Islington - London. Pours coudy gold with a tight, creamy white head. Loads of ripe, slightly rotting citrus on the nose, plenty of melon, orange, grapefruit and tangerine. Medium to big sweet flavor, some boozy kick, lots of juicy hops, moderate bitterness, plenty of ripe citrus, orange and tangerine, melon. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, quite sticky and resinous, lots of pine, grapefruit, orange. It’s a big boy. Drinks pretty good for 12%, but you do feel the strength. Lots of dank, juicy and resinous hops linger.
