5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Bottle brought back to Yorkshire from the launch at Craft Co. Slightly hazy, very fresh new age hop aroma citrus, tropical fruit, mango, floral, fresh cut grass and slightly spicy/herby.Rich body, slightly syrup like, oily followed by amazing hop flavours. Slight bitterness could do with more bitterness but it tastes so fresh, sweetish caramalt-like finish .Reminds me very much of The Kernel Breweries stronger beers. Looking forward to next years version.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle with a huge thanks to Ben! This beer rocked my world. Pours cloudy orange, medium off-white creamy head that dissipates slowly leaving nice lacing. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, passionfruit, wonderful tropical citrusy. Flavor is the same, very tropical fruity, just a touch of cat piss. Light sweet, medium bitter. Full body, creamy mouthfeel, some warming. This just might be my new favorite DIPA. Wow. Go England!

Tried at Craft beer Co. Very worried about my state of mind after drinking this but I threw caution to the wind. Delicious beer, nothing i’m used to but at my age worthtrying everything, very hoppy. Had a lovely sleep after trying this.

Bottle courtesy Beehive. Wow wow wow. This is a cheesy velvet monster alright. Dirty orange and cream head. Massively funky aroma. Massive creamy funky hoppy taste ! Then luxurious on the palate like being caressed by something with velvet fingers. Made of cheese. Epic beer!!!

Loved it. Gorgeous balance, some juicy hops from tropics with a smoothly gentle caramel balance. Warm, hidden abv. Share with Dom, beers are always better shared. Especially with him.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
660ml bottle from The Beerhive.
Frothy white head with some lacing. Hazy amber body. Nose is all hops, pine with some tropical fruit. Body is grapefruit, caramel, treacle, burnt sugar. A fair bit of alcohol coming through. Aftertaste is light bitterness with molasses and dried fruit. Good full mouthfeel, medium carbonation. This is a brilliant beer, strong but not overpowering.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
660ml bottle. Happy to get my hands on this. Hazy dark amber colour with reawakening, average, creamy, fairy lasting, superbly lacing, white head. Hoppy aroma of unique intensity has notes of grapefruit, pineapple, citrus, pine, resin, a cheesy, sweaty touch, robust caramel malty basis. Taste is initially minimally biting bitter hoppy, underlying notes of tropical fruit, moderately sweet caramel malty and fruity, citrusy middle part, a touch of sweat, cheese and purulence, in the last third again more bitter hoppy; full body, oily texture, long lasting bitter hoppy finish, well carbonated, surprisingly drinkable. Absolutely outstanding.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
660ml bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. Big big mango, lychee, peaches and cream aroma. Such a surprisingly smooth palate, with hay, caramel and hints of cough mixture at the sides, which brings me round to aniseed, then fresh spruce. Heat comes late in the swallow and lingers in the chest. Big hype surrounding the launch of this and I wasn’t going to go out of my way but I just fell into this and I’m glad I did. £12.99 is high end but it is a mighty fine beer

Bottle at home from ales by mail
Pours superhazy mid amber with fluffy white head. Strong resinous pine on the nose, robust malt sweetness and rasping bitterness, juicy tropical fruits, tart citrus, some warming booze. On warming passion fruit on the nose and distinctive watermelon notes in flavour. Perfect carbonation and medium body. Tastes strong but not its strength. A great first brew of a TIPA.
