bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA Aug 30, 2004 on draft at brewpub: "hola chicos’ the waitress clamered. hey give me a tostada, i mean taco, no the tostada. another poorly made magister beer....bland malt flavors with slight sweetness. low on CO2. metallic and thin....no ones drinking this crap. just me.
faroeviking (6016), Republica Vikingo de las, Faroe Islands Mar 9, 2009 Draught. Clear deep amber colour, short beige head. Aroma is lightly strange sourish with caramel and toasted malt. Ok mouthfeel. Sweet frutish toasty malty caramellic flavour. Lightly sweet toasty finish. Drinkable beer with a mild infection. diabel (1366), Aarschot, Belgium May 6, 2008 Draught at the brewpub Hazy muddy brown body. Off-white creamy head with an excellent lace. Aroma has some hops, smoke, orange, lemon, grapefruit. Not the aroma one would expect from a beer like this. Lightly bitter flavour, not so intense and even somewhat watery. The aroma was interesting, the flavour not that much. Fukito (604), Buenos Aires, Argentina Nov 22, 2007 Keg at magister, october 07. Opaque black color with a creamy, medium sized cremé head. Buttery, slightly toasted aroma. Toasty malts flavor plus some irish yeastiness with some slight coffee notes at the end. Nice. Creamy, silky motufeel. Filling, pleasant and moreish. Can´t discern if it´s on nitro. Nice, creamy, filling stout. Rastacouere (5551), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Nov 6, 2007 Considering the style, Scores ranging from 1 to 5, 5 being the most intense

Comments: Simplistic, toasted lager with a mild fruity flavour profile and a blatant negligence of hops.
yespr (11613), Copenhagen O, Denmark Oct 24, 2007 From tap at the brewpub. Pours deep brown with a little dense off-white head. Very minor caramel malt aroma. Flavour holds a soft caramel malt flavour, this clearly is toasted rather than roasted :). Ends with a mild bitterness. Again not much going on here, but has some more to offer compared to the blond. Ughsmash (3978), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Jun 11, 2007 On tap at Magister. Poured a deeper smoky caramel with a creamy cap of off-white head. Lightly-toasted caramel and toffee notes in the aroma (as advertised) with light herbal accents.. simple and somewhat enjoyable. The flavor was of lightly-toasted caramel and sweet fruity sugars with light hints of herbal and citrusy bitterness.. long-ish sweet finish. Lighter-bodied with a creamy middle and mild bitterness. PeterA (339), Virginia, USA Nov 25, 2006 First pour of a brand new batch, on tap. The aroma was weak, but I don’t think I should penalize it for that. The color was a muddy brown, with a beige head, and that’s after I let it settle for a while. Depending on how you translate it, tostada can mean toasted, and they aren’t joking. It was smoky and it had a very bitter aftertaste. I’d like to try this when it’s had a little bit more time to age and settle. Nekronos (2243), Xalapa, Mexico Jan 3, 2006 The same, but alittle better, very dark in colour, almost like a Leon, from MExico, but flavorless at all.
