On tap at the Duke of Devonshire in Eastbourne. Classic one with balanced apples and some sugar in the taste. Refreshing, easy going - commercial one with no surprises.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the Duke of Devonshire in Eastbourne. Pours out in a clear golden colour with medium body. Aroma of ripe apples with some hints of green apples. Taste of ripe, but light sour red apples, ripe green apples, leaves and some caramel. Dry finish. Easy to drink and very refreshing. Nice.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
2014-07-02. Crisp dark yellow body is headless. Aroma is mild, apple fruit, lightly must apple skins. Flavour is relatively dry after a sweet start, earthy sort of apple skin and stem quality. Average bodied palate, modest carbonation. Just okay. On tap at The Clachan Inn, Dornie

Drier in flavour and lighter in colour than the bottled version, I never quite worked out why they bothered changing the recipe for the draught version. Standard quaffable cider, good for a hot day and make sure you order it without ice!!

0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Keg at OíNeills, Reading. Because it was the only thing I hadnít tried before. Looks thin, gold and fizzy, and tastes that way too. Tastes artificial through and through- the sickly sweetness is that of artificial sweetener and applep- flavoured sweets. One feels that there may be a brief squirt of economy apple juice in there purely to avoid lawsuits, but that may be the only apple itís seen. Iíll say this for macro lagers, they may taste bad but at least they donít taste strongly. This macro cider tastes quite strongly of bad- itís possibly the worst cider Iíve ever had. Wish Iíd stuck to the Guinness.

Not bad. I'm not a cider person but it seems very popular in the UK right now. Had at the Blue Posts in London.

Amber color with little head. Dry, perhaps thin at the end. Barely tart at all. Refreshing, but missing punch.

Body blond. It smells fruity, apple, sour, something else, sweet. The taste is fruity, less CO2, bit apple, fresh. Ok 10/9/10/9/-/9
