COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sometimes we fancy something a little different. That’s why we made Magners Golden Draught, it gives people something with a really crisp taste by using a higher proportion of the smaller, harder to crush Dabinett and Michelin apples."

Keg at the Skylark (JDW) LHR T123, 03/05/13. Clear pale orange/golden with lots of carbonation evident, very thin white head. Nose is faint apple, sugars, light straw, artificial notes. Taste comprises apple drops, sugars, straw, slightly tarte orchard fruit. Medium bodied with spritzy carbonation, dry in the finish. Sweetish slight chemical/artificial notes pretty - meh!

Pours a clear gold color with minimal white head. Sweet apples, mild sugar, and not terribly complex. Nicely sweet, mild yeast, maybe a touch of apple pie spice. The flavor is rather simple and straightforward. Sweet sugar, apple juice, and a good apple flavor overall. A light dryness on the finish with a fair amount of yeast.

Completely refreshing but syntethic of course. Nice bubbly stuff and some peel spots but just a chemical drink. NIce to have a fine time.

On tap. Dog & Gun, Kilby. Golden with steady rising bubbles. Aromas are clean apple with some woody notes. Lemon with hints of sulphur. Flavours are crisp apple with tart citrus. Fairly dry on the finish. Well carbonated. Better than expected.

On tap at Mariner Folkestone. What made me order this? I dont know. Not as sweet as regular Magners. Some apple on aroma. Its a very straightforward apple juice led cider with actually a touch of dryness on the finish. Watching boats on Folkestone harbour. Doing a bit of a Folkestone crawl. On pub no. 4 with 5 left.
