COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We all need a bit of variety and thatís why we came up with the idea for Magnerís Pear. Of course, we like to do things properly and donít mind taking our time about it, so unlike some Pear cider, the only fruit that goes into ours is pears.

And of course, youíll only find 100% premium quality pears in Magners Pear, which we filter to get rid of any impurities before fermenting slowly.

Thatís what makes Magners Pear so fresh, fruity and full of flavor. So next time youíre out and wanting a bit of a change, pour a Magners Pear, sit back and enjoy.

Bottle. Very pale yellow pour, crystal clear, with a very minimal head. Aroma is pear, but maybe a bit artificial. Taste is pear, and a touch of white grapes. Could use a bit more carbonation as well.

I couldíve sworn this beer was unrateable, but oh well. Had a ton of these one night in Ireland when I was sick of guinness. Much like the standard Magners offering, the Pear is over carbonated and highly sweet. Lots of sugar, apple, pear and artifical sweetener. IIWII.

On draught at the Edinburgh Fringe Fest. Pours a pale straw colour with pear, alcohol and yeast characters. Moderate carbonation and a dry finish. OK.

Another try at a hard cider. Color is pale, nose is flat. Slight fruity notes with moderate carbonation. Believe I will stay with my micros. Quaff Score 2 / 10, maybe nice on a sweltering hot day ?

Bottle... I didnít even notice the color since I was too busy chatting up the ridiculously hot Magnerís rep. Sweet-looking Latino with a rock hard butt and boobs to match. Maybe more importantly, she was very friendly. Regarding the perry itself? Crazy sweet and not much of a pear nose. Not good at all. Wine cooler-like. Double meh.

(bottle - 330 ml) Clear and almost white pour with a thin and soapy head. Mild aroma, but what I got was most definitely pear and pear skin. Flavor is light but pleasant. Mild pear sweetness with a very dry and crisp finish.

Bottled. Poured crystal-clear, very light golden (didnít look much different than sparkling water). The aroma picked up sweetened pear juice with faint hints of sticky pear meat and oak.. not by any means offensive, but very, very weak. The flavor was thankfully a little bigger.. sweet pear juice with hints of apricot and white grapes at the core.. lightly tart pear skins and white spices around.. finished with sweet pears and a touch of oak. Light-bodied and too sweet on the palate.. higher carbonation kept it sparkly.. nice flow to it. This was too weak and clean to really be enjoyable.
