We all need a bit of variety and that’s why we came up with the idea for Magner’s Pear. Of course, we like to do things properly and don’t mind taking our time about it, so unlike some Pear cider, the only fruit that goes into ours is pears.

And of course, you’ll only find 100% premium quality pears in Magners Pear, which we filter to get rid of any impurities before fermenting slowly.

That’s what makes Magners Pear so fresh, fruity and full of flavor. So next time you’re out and wanting a bit of a change, pour a Magners Pear, sit back and enjoy.

(bottle - 330 ml) Clear and almost white pour with a thin and soapy head. Mild aroma, but what I got was most definitely pear and pear skin. Flavor is light but pleasant. Mild pear sweetness with a very dry and crisp finish.

Bottled. Poured crystal-clear, very light golden (didn’t look much different than sparkling water). The aroma picked up sweetened pear juice with faint hints of sticky pear meat and oak.. not by any means offensive, but very, very weak. The flavor was thankfully a little bigger.. sweet pear juice with hints of apricot and white grapes at the core.. lightly tart pear skins and white spices around.. finished with sweet pears and a touch of oak. Light-bodied and too sweet on the palate.. higher carbonation kept it sparkly.. nice flow to it. This was too weak and clean to really be enjoyable.

Bottle. Almost imperceptible plastic-y tart aroma. Pale fizzy yellow. Weird sweet tart fruity flavor that was neither pear nor apple. Light, highly carbonated body. Drain pour. Ick.

Pale color, smell of pears. Taste is sweet, a little cloying, but still fairly refreshing. A decent perry.
