We all need a bit of variety and thatís why we came up with the idea for Magnerís Pear. Of course, we like to do things properly and donít mind taking our time about it, so unlike some Pear cider, the only fruit that goes into ours is pears.

And of course, youíll only find 100% premium quality pears in Magners Pear, which we filter to get rid of any impurities before fermenting slowly.

Thatís what makes Magners Pear so fresh, fruity and full of flavor. So next time youíre out and wanting a bit of a change, pour a Magners Pear, sit back and enjoy.

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Light yellowish in colour, no head. Dissapointing low pear taste and aroma. Nothing special.

Pours a very clear yellow color. I get a little bit of pear in the aroma, but what really stands out is a ton of notes that resemble the inside of a plastic bucket. Thankfully the flavor is better. I get a lot of sweet pear notes, with a little bit of vanilla thrown in. Decent, but not one to seek out.

Clear and very pale in colour with big persistent bubbles. Aromas are of clean, chemical freshness. Almost feinty even with touches of unripe pear which mellows as it interacts with the air around it. Full carbonation and then sweet sweet sweet lolly-like fruit. Tingles on the tongue and while it isnít a challenging drink, it is a palate refreshing easy quaffer. No wonder itís popular.

Ca. Clear pale yellow, medium carbo. Aroma is fresh pear and green appleskins. Flavour is same, with a slightly medicinal quality in the finish. After about 10 sips, the syrupy sweetness becomes too cloying for me to continue. More a cooler than a brewed beverage. Poor. Couldnít finish the can.

500ml can from an off-license. Extremely pale yellow, clear and bubbly, small and quick-diminishing fizzy white head. Smells like green pear, light alcohol and a bit of mint and lime. Tastes like sweetened ripe pear and a bit of lime, watered down some - light syrupy body, solid carbonation, bit of a sweet finish ...

Bottle - Pours clear pale, pale yellow--close to clear--with a thin ring of white head. Nose is oddly soured wheat, with a bit of cane sugary sweetness. Taste is sugary sweet pear, skin and all, with a long sugary finish. Sweet white wine mixed in too, and a long sugary finish. Slick and medium-bodied without a whole lot of carbonation. Too sweet for my tastes.

Bottle. Very pale yellow pour, crystal clear, with a very minimal head. Aroma is pear, but maybe a bit artificial. Taste is pear, and a touch of white grapes. Could use a bit more carbonation as well.

I couldíve sworn this beer was unrateable, but oh well. Had a ton of these one night in Ireland when I was sick of guinness. Much like the standard Magners offering, the Pear is over carbonated and highly sweet. Lots of sugar, apple, pear and artifical sweetener. IIWII.

On draught at the Edinburgh Fringe Fest. Pours a pale straw colour with pear, alcohol and yeast characters. Moderate carbonation and a dry finish. OK.
