COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We all need a bit of variety and that’s why we came up with the idea for Magner’s Pear. Of course, we like to do things properly and don’t mind taking our time about it, so unlike some Pear cider, the only fruit that goes into ours is pears.

And of course, you’ll only find 100% premium quality pears in Magners Pear, which we filter to get rid of any impurities before fermenting slowly.

That’s what makes Magners Pear so fresh, fruity and full of flavor. So next time you’re out and wanting a bit of a change, pour a Magners Pear, sit back and enjoy.

Clear with some yellow tint. Looks like white wine. Virtually no head and not much carbonation. Syrupy sweet nose. This is just sweet. Pear juice and white sugar. Not much else in here. It is nice a clean, but really just sweet.

Bottle, 4.5%. Clear champagne colour with no head. Aroma is pear and sugar. Flavour is pear, sugar, sweet, little acid and a little over carbonated.

Not overly strong or bitter. Tastes like pear. Bubbly but out of the bottle it feels like it?s limited. Ok

crisp gold and fresh actually smells like fruit juice with less sugar good and refreshing but to much apple flavour if you make a pear cider you should use pear and only pear not apple as well

2013-03-27. Crisp bubbly pale yellow, headless. 2+ Sweet fruity aroma, sort of white wine like, light pear but I might not call it that if I didn’t know. Flavour is relatively sweet, more distinct notes of pears than in the aroma, almost like the syrup in canned pears at times. Very light acidity around the edges trys to keep it from becoming overly cloying and mostly succeeds. Smooth average plus to medium bodied palate is much more full bodied than I would have expected, pleasantly so with a soft carbonation. 3+ Overall it is too sweet but is pleasantly fruity enough that I could see enjoying a glass over ice in the summer. Aroma quiet dry, sparkling vine like, character of pear is showing well, slight hint of grape. Slight hint of unfermented sugars.6+
Appearance poured almost headless, clear look with visible carbonation.
Flavor and Palate : thinly bodied. Light on flavor. Watery with artificial sweetness. Walls are hinted with pear flavor. Low tartness. Refreshing as alcoholic drink, perhaps too sweet.

Bottle. Really pale yellow/green (?). Pear aroma. Sweet pear flavour. Not something I´m gonna drink again.

FROTHINGSLOSH (5095) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 6, 2013
Sampled from a 12 oz green bottle this beer poured an extremely pale yellow color - almost clear with a small soapy white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was an odd sharp cheddar cheese note with faint pear. The flavor was sweet sugar, a hint of pear and a touch of yeast - very mild overall. Light and watery body. Not good.

Never had a perry before, but this looked interesting, bottle into glass, pours clear clear with a small tinty of yellow, ZERO head, aroma of white wine, taste is similar with distinctive pear, best way to describe is a pear wine, like it tho
