COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We all need a bit of variety and that’s why we came up with the idea for Magner’s Pear. Of course, we like to do things properly and don’t mind taking our time about it, so unlike some Pear cider, the only fruit that goes into ours is pears.

And of course, you’ll only find 100% premium quality pears in Magners Pear, which we filter to get rid of any impurities before fermenting slowly.

That’s what makes Magners Pear so fresh, fruity and full of flavor. So next time you’re out and wanting a bit of a change, pour a Magners Pear, sit back and enjoy.

Rubbery apple smell. Crystal clear, almost colorless yellow. Well balanced pear flavor, slightly buttery. Mouthfeel is a little watery. Good, but not very imaginative, and a little on the weak side.

Smells like beer and cider mixture. Pours with no head and is pale, clear yellow. Leaves no laving but has bubbles that last the drink. The taste is sweet at first but gets bland as it warms. Its rich and creates a little heartburn. The palate is watery and the finish mild.

This one hardly impressed - the scent was not pear. The taste was, as well, not really pear but sour apples that faded into a dry, bland finish. As OmegaX has said... Meh.

Nose is light pear but not much aroma to go off of. Pour is light amber with almost no head. Taste is a bit grainy and watery. A bit of apple/pear in the finish. Meh.

Pours light yellow with a nice but quickly fading white head. Tastes more like an apple than a pear cider, but you can distinguish the pear toward the end of the taste.

Bottle. Pours very light yellow with small, fast fading fizzy white head. Aroma seems to be bunchedf up apple juice with a hint of pear. Flavor much the same as well as a bit of sweetness. Light body with very high, fizzy carbonation. Overall, I could pass on this one.

found this at fort leavenworth kansas liquor store Pours extremely pale yellow with some bubbles and no head, aroma of pears and some fermentation notes, flavor of sour apples, quite watery with a nice acidity.

Tallahassee, Fl - Fermentation Market - 330 ml bottle. Pours a sparkling very light golden - no head. Aroma is kind mealy - not very fruity. Reminds a bit of soggy cereal. Flavor has some artificial pear-like notes, some wine cooler accents, not much else. Mouthfeel has a metallic twinge to it.

Single from New Beer Distro. Glassy, faintly yellow color. Smells like a wad of Play-Doh macerating in a bottle of cheap white wine. Taste is actually tolerable. Powdered sugar, watered down 7-Up, & some candied melon/fruit salad syrup. Sappy, preserved finish. It’s basically half flat soda.

Had both Magners and this was my favourite of the two, plus i love perry’es .. . Pours a light yellow soda a la creme .. . light foam .. . light sugar, granny smith apple and pear .. . very refreshing and something i could have in a keg on my back .. . . Rules are rules, Hank. Without rules there would be chaos. That’s why we no longer visit the public pool.
