I typically love all citra IPAs. but this one is just off for some reason. Almost tastes a bit too phenol-y.

A - Served a slightly hazy golden-orange color with a finger of frothy off-white head atop. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some lacing. S - Aroma is full of fresh citrus hops wish some orange and other citrus fruits, some sweet caramel malt, and just a touch of yeast. T - Starts off with some citrus hops with some nice orange flavor and just a touch of bitterness as well. A bit of sweet caramel malt in the background for balance. Through the middle some more bitterness and caramel malt come through. The finish is a mix of hop and hop bitterness with some light caramel and just a touch of yeast. M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a nice dryness from the hop flavors. D - Very drinkable. Nice fresh hop flavor with a good supporting malt flavor. Nice balance while still featuring the hop flavor front and center. I really liked the finish.
