COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hoppy Haight Street Fair! This hoppy pale ale was brewed especially for the legendary street festival held on June 7 and was sold up and down Haight Street as well as at the pub. Jubilee Ale is the Cascade-hopped "session-beer" relative of our Prescription Pale Ale. Crisp, dry and eminently quaffable, Jubilee was designed for the summer sunshine that never came. The last drops are being pour as of this writing and Jubilee Ale will not make it to July. Try it now or wait til next year, when we will do it all over again.

DuffMan (4434) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, - JUL 25, 2007
Hand pulled cask at the brewpub in San Francisco. Bright orange-amber with a creamy, sticky head. Faintly fruity and leafy aroma, very much the same on the palate, mostly reminiscent of fresh celery or perhaps melon. Low bitterness. Interesting.

Cask @ the brewpub. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a malty fruity hoppy aroma with some hints of citrus. Fruity malty hoppy citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty hopy finish.

Cask. Rich amber beer with an off-white head. Light citrus aroma with light malt. Citrus, pine flavors with biscuity malt. Medium-light body. Somewhat watery. Lingering citrus, pine, and light caramel.

Nuffield (3090) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - JUN 28, 2007
I was pleased to be able to get this when I was visiting (on June 16th, 2007). I had it on the cask version. But...I didn’t care for it. Another hop-driven beer with none of the virtues of the Proving Ground. Amber in color, somewhat subtle hops (struck me as Maris Otter, but I see now that it was actually Cascade)--at any rate, a restrained vegetal flavor that didn’t suit me (but I don’t care for this style so much anyway). Vac (2442) - Soon to be back in San Diego, California, USA - JUN 13, 2005
Pours with an amber-orange body topped by a thick head with some lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet and malty with a touch of underlying grapefruit and apricot hoppiness. The flavor is similar with a note of grain. Light to medium bodied, slightly dry and smooth.

Lubiere (7003) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 12, 2004
Tap. Golden ale with a nice fresh hoppy aroma, Fresh biscuity malt taste, with a touch of hops, very pleasant and fresh. Medium bodied. (June 2004). Got lucky as this was to be released the next week.
