Black with a fizzy tan head. Sweet chocolate berry cherry vanilla and oak aroma and taste.

On tap at the brewpub. I didn’t know what to expect from this one, but after trying a small sample, I had to get a full pour. It pours a dark brown color with a brown head. The aroma is awesome with chocolate, vanilla, oak and hints of cherry. The flavor is the same with soft carbonation and a silky mouthfeel. The oak is beautifully integrated with lovely notes of vanilla, wood, chocolate and cherry. So smooth and balanced. This is a real hidden gem. Worth the trip from the East Bay.
