Draft at Toronado; Nose is grassy hops with a light piney note; clear dark gold with a medium, glass-lacing head; flavor was hop bitterness with a pine and light caramel note. Finish lightly bitter pine.

A decent aroma is the only highlight of this otherwise lackluster beer. A neat trip into the past, but still pretty mediocre.

Draft... Super dark but xlear gold, copper in the middle, nice light tan head... Caramelly grass body, a bit off, too sweet... Taste is blah, boring, nothing new, sweet pale

On tap at the brewpub. Pours medium brown, much darker than pale, with a modest beige head and a coffee aroma. There is a hearty caramel malt flavor with a chalky bitter finish.

Draught at the brew pub, SF.Amber looks with a small white head. Sweet malt, citrus, and restrained piney hop in the nose and flavour. Gently bitter finish. Crisp and drinkable enough but more interesting pickings to be found at the other end of Haight methinks.

Tap at the brewpub. Amber pour, white head. Citrus, caramel, earthy hops. Kinda light, but still a decent pale.

Amber pour. The nose is lightly spicy with a touch of caramel. Light butterscotch and a touch of herbal hoppiness. It’s bready and sweetish but it works okay.

on tap-pours a retaining tight light tan head and orange/amber color. Aroma is mild citrus, medium malt-caramel. Taste is orange rind/resin/earthy hops bite, medium malt-caramel.

Clear golden orange with a fizzy white head. Bread and hops aroma. Tastes of orange malt bread and mild biterness.

Draft. Rich amber beer with an off-white head. Toffee and light citrus aroma. Rich malt and toffee flavor with light toasted malts, citrus, and light pine. Medium bodied. Pine, citrus and toffee lingers with some light darker malt notes.
