Poured a slightly hazed amber color with an off-white head. Big grapefruit aroma with some other pine and earthy hops notes mixed in. There was a hint of butterscotch sadly though. Nice hop flavor that covers the malt. Citrus finish but again some light butterscotch. MI2CA (1101), Noblesville, Indiana, USA Feb 21, 2007 4oz sample in a full size tulip at brewery from the cask - Aroma and flavor are bright floral and citrus hops with a nice caramel malt finish. Pours transparent copper with a bubbly head and great lacing. Palate is crisp, tart and cask creamy. I just love really big hop monsters on cask and this did not dissapoint.
