Feb 14, 2008 On tap @ Magnolia poured a clear amber with a lasting light amber head. Aromas of carmel, citrus and light pine. Flavors of grapefruit, carmel, light piune and a hint of earthinbess with a smooth moderatly bitter finish.

Feb 12, 2008 Tap @ Magnolia for Strong Ale Month 2008. Poured a slightly hazed amber color with an off-white head. Big grapefruit aroma with some other pine and earthy hops notes mixed in. There was a hint of butterscotch sadly though. Nice hop flavor that covers the malt. Citrus finish but again some light butterscotch. Medium-full body.

Feb 11, 2008 Tried on tap at Magnolia pub during strong ale month. Great pub/restaurant. Great another 10%+ rating. Amber color. Medium head. Nice mild hoppy aroma. Melanoidins abound. Creamy soft head. Sweet malty. Some feet in the aroma (tap lines?).

Mar 20, 2007 Draft. Amber beer with an off-white head. Nice big citrus aroma. Big grapefruit flavor with some pine and backing caramel. Long lasting grapefruit bitterness. Hides alcohol well. Very good.

Feb 21, 2007 4oz sample in a full size tulip at brewery from the cask - Aroma and flavor are bright floral and citrus hops with a nice caramel malt finish. Pours transparent copper with a bubbly head and great lacing. Palate is crisp, tart and cask creamy. I just love really big hop monsters on cask and this did not dissapoint.
