COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bright and clear, Weather Report Wheat is more in the style of a British golden bitter than traditional wheat beer. The smooth, slightly tart flavor of wheat is complemented by the full-bodied, nutty Maris Otter barley and English hops. A small coriander addition adds another surprising dimension. Malts: floor-malted Maris Otter; German wheat malt Hops: East Kent Golding

Light yellow color and a flavor if Cheerios. It is a pretty typical wheat beer. It is mild and if you like simple beer it's very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap - The beer pours out a pale straw yellow body, clear with a foamy white cap. Aroma is very light, some hint of lemon, a touch of air freshener (floral I guess). The flavor is very, very light. Light hay, a subtle twang, some weak vanilla and cereal flavors. Easy to drink.

On tap at the Pub, August 2013. A bit hazy light yellow with a small white head. On the thin side with some coriander, wheat and light notes of fruit. Not the best one.

Clear yellow color. Had a white head. Very refreshing and light. Straw taste, hay. Nothing much going on here but very refreshing.

I don’t particularly care for wheat beers, but this one is down right bad. If you find yourself at this otherwise lovely brewpub, steer clear of this mundane drink.

On tap. Pours with a clear, golden hued body with a small but mostly lasting white head. Aromas are fruity, estery, phenolic (cardamon), coriander, mint, a hint of raw grain, diacetyl, butter, butterscotch, caramel. Flavors are grainy, wheat, lightly spicy, cereal, vanilla, some esters and white pepper. Medium bubbles, mouthfeel is a bit slick. Medium bodied. Mostly dry finish. Unique wheat beer.

A: The pour is a very pale straw color with a white head to go with it. S: There’s some lemon zest up front which is accompanied by a slight tartness. Crappy wheat beer? I think so...A mild wheat bread flavor, pepper, and some butter. T: A slightly tart/lemony flavor along with some sweet wheat. A mild bitterness to go with some grassy hop notes. There is a touch of breadiness and perhaps some water. M: The body is light with a moderate level of carbonation. D: Sour and buttery wheat beer isn’t my cup of tea. I’ll take a pass on this.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear golden with a thin off-white head and a light floral aroma. There is a thin wheat flavor (no sourness) and a slightly bitter finish.
