Cask at the Globe, Nottingham. This golden beer has a pleasing earthy quality with some grass-like flavour. However, I could have done with it being a lot more bitter. It’s adequate but unremarkable.

Jun 23, 2008 Cask at the Brunswick Arms, Derby. Gold with a thin white head; aroma of malt and orange zest; bitter to start, then malty and sweet; bitter grapefruit finish.

Oct 21, 2007 Cask gravity at Nottingham BF 2007. Hazy gold, with thin white head. Yeasty bitter, it’s a bitter, it’s yeasty. Some hop.

Oct 14, 2006 Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Oxford BF. A slightly hazy golden coloured beer. The aroma has some hop in the background but is tainted by a sulphuric edge. The taste is dry with alittle hop agian, but is fairly bland and lacking character.
