hughie (2059), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England May 23, 2008 I continue my search for a decent commercially produced perry. This isn’t it. Pale gold, very fizzy. The aroma has just a hint of promising sourness and real fruit. After that, to coin a phrase, it all goes pear-shaped. The taste is cloyingly sweet. Ungstrup (10853), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 22, 2008 Bottled. A light golden perry with no head. The aroma is sweet and is dominated by pears, and so is the flavor, though with light notes of acidity and wood. Magic_dave6 (3536), London, England Jan 13, 2008 Bottle from haddows. Looks even lighter and sh*ttier than the apple one. Aroma is actually almost identical to the cider it isnt until your drinking it you get the pear essance. Taste is similar, prominantly apples not pears but with some pear drop sweetness, again agressive body leaves me burping away here. My god the mindless massess of britian and thier some how more mindless thoughts that irish people make good cider amazes me.
