Dec 12, 2004 Dark brown colour. Coffee aroma with a sour note. Very light bodied. Sharp chocolate with metallic bitterness. Lightly off. Thanks for the beer, Capflu.

Nov 24, 2004 Celebration November 2004 at CapFlu’s place. Dark black in colour, thin head. Aroma of cold coffee and stale malts. Flavour was chalky, oily, some coffee and chocolate, slight sourness. Finished very dry and sour. Not the best made stout. Thanks for supplying this CapFlu.

Nov 10, 2004 What the hell were we thinking having bad beer after bad beer at the November gathering at CapFlu’s place. At least the ratings a few beers from now will be of highly enjoyed beers. This one however was a thin coffee & cigarettes stale beer. It had the requisite appearance of a stout, and some of the oily coffee aromas, but then it completely fell apart. Kind of sour, instead of nicely bitter, to finish. Cheers again though to CapFlu for bringing this out from his travels.

Nov 9, 2004 Bottle, choked down alongside CapFlu, tiggmtl, Rastacouere, Beerhugger, Radiomgb, and DumDum in Ottawa. Dark, oily looking, no head. Day-old coffee and cream nose. Stale dry wine and cheap "off" coffee on the tongue, oily and sour at the finish. Brackish and bleccchh.

Nov 9, 2004 Coffee grounds and cocoa in the aroma. Dark brown with thin tan head. Roasty coffee flavour with notes of raisins. Rather gassy body. PET bottle sampled with beerhugger, CapFlu, DumDum, muzzlehatch, radiomb and Rastacouere.
