2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Gooney (369) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 7, 2013
12 oz bottle from Uwajimaya - Dark yellow with no head to speak of. Aroma has a slightly European hint. Nothing spectacular here, but not bad for a pale lager. It would beat a lot of our microbrews.

bottle. Golden with small head. Very generic corn lager. Not very good at all.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 womencantsail (6896) - Garbage Grove, California, USA - FEB 25, 2013
Pale straw colored pour with a short lived white head. The nose is a bit sour and corny. But there is a touch of malt, though more of a grainy sweetness. A bit of straw and grass, too. The flavor is sweet and otherwise bland. Adjunct sweetness, grain, lemon, and some straw. Not terribly offensive, but not all that enjoyable.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 ronaldtheriot (781) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - FEB 10, 2013
Maharaja Premium Indian Pilsner has a medium, foamy head, a clear, yellow-golden appearance, some bubble steams, and a bit of lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet, full, and pungent barley malt, biscuit, grass, and bread dough. Taste is of bready malt, charcoal, grass, sourness, a bit of green apple, and a faint hop bitterness at the end. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Maharaja Premium India Pilsner finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, and mild. Overall, this is a good beer, and it’s worth a try. RJT

Bottle at dinner, paid with lamb vindaloo made from the fiery depths of hell. Not really a pils, as it’s malt heavy with burnt caramel notes. Light fizzy body with minimal styrofoam and pine. Sadly my stomach still burns.

Bottle pours the expected clear golden with a bubbly head. Aroma of corn, grass, hay, soap. Light. Goes down relatively smoothly. I’ll stick to Avery’s maha.

A sweeter tasting pilsner that you can find at a Indian restruant. I think it goes well with a hotter food such as Indian curry. Very clear light yellow that leaves you feeling good.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Slegar (24) - Green bay, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 18, 2012
It ok. Nothing special sticks out about it. Almost seems like a watered down version of Kingfisher beer. A bit lighter though so could drink a few of these
