Clear and medium amber with nice lace. Light (maybe a tad watery) texture. Light and toasted malts had a touch of caramel sweetness. Mild bitterness rounded things out. Had an interesting nip of something ... anise-like, perhaps? At any rate, it was an easy-to-drink session beer.
