Bottle: Found in Costa Rica during quick trip. With eyes closed, couldn’t tell this is ’beer’. Slight malt taste.

DruncanVeasey (6950) - NUNEATON, Top 24, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUN 3, 2013
Breakfast taste-off with Estrella Sin. Similar blue tin. 25kcal por 100ml- over twice the calorie content of Estrella. Nondescript brilliant gold with a slick collar. Olive oil soap, hay, wholemeal cracker aroma. Slick and sweet with a card, frosted corn and slightly lemon sponge-accented character. That heady 1% alcohol content elevates it above the plughole nastiness of Estrella, and into the realms of drinkability. If it’s 10am, 25c, you’re driving to catch a flight and have scooped everything else on the shelves of El Arbol, Carrefour etc worth a pop.

Tenerife 06. Light golden with an OK head. There is no aroma apart from a little wet grain/malt. The flavour is sweetish and a bit like mash. It’s the absolutely worst non-alcoholic beer I have ever tasted - terrible..... 1563 I retasted this (courtesy of Fonefan) in June 09, found a little cooked cabbage too, otherwise the same.
