On tap - on a very hot day - at Palmitos Park Maspalomas Gran Canaria. Well I certainly found this refreshing, which is about all you really need in the hot sun. That said, it did have a tad more malt character than a typical cheap mass production lager. Okay

Strong, present aroma of hop. Clear bear, with a strange undefinable taste, which is not bad... A slightly bitter aftertaste. It is "just a lager", but one with an unusual twist.... Sterk, aanwezig aroma van hop. Helder pils, wel een enorm aparte, maar geen vieze smaak die ik niet kan definieren. De nasmaak is licht bitter. Het blijft "maar" een pils, maar wel met een aparte twist.

Had Mahou in a Spanish food style restaurant. It is definitely a macro lager with a bit more maltiness and body making it a bit better than the average American macro of the same style.

On tap in Madrid, Spain. Clear light golden colour with low head. Nose of barley. Taste of light hops, sweet malt, metallic finish. Nothing special but it is all about the atmosphere when you are in a Spanish little bar and drinking this beer with "de canas" makes it quite drinkable.

Plechovka ( dárek od rodičů z dovolené) Pivo pro mě zcela bez chuti, zřejmě v pivovaru zapomněli, že se vaří pivo pro chuť a ne na množství .

Draught at Selwo, Estepona. Another Spanish mass produced pilsner. Metallic and bland. Poor stuff.

Best thing I can say about it is that there are worse pale lagers. It’s just a P.L., the usual metal, malt, shit. Not worth a visit again.
