My waiter in Madrid, Spain, said this was the only beer they carried because it was "la mejor cervesa del mundo" (the best beer in the world). It was not.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold with a slight white head. Light grassy hop aroma. Med body or so. Tastes like most pale lagers, yet grassy enough to stand out a bit from the bunch. It even finishes a little bitter.

Iím not really sure what the distinction is between this Mahou variation and Mahou classica, they both are just watery adjunct industrial euro lagers, a bit more hoppy than their American adjunct cousins, but nothing interesting. I only sampled a can of this because it was free, and this isnít a beer worth paying for if you can help it. Admittedly itís fresh tasting in its local area, but nothing about this beer is "five stars."
