1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Spiesy (2338) - Sydney, Greater London, AUSTRALIA - SEP 2, 2004
Bottled, whilst in Deia, Majorca, Spain. Pale golden colour with a green’ish hue. Not sure what’s so classic about this. I found it thin and wet and not nearly as good as its draught big brother. Disappointing.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ogivlado (4975) - Zagreb, CROATIA - JUL 2, 2004
Canned(500ml). -better than Mahou Cinco Estrellas, pale golden coloured with minimal head, grainy and malty, a little bit too carbonated but overall good and refreshing
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 carnival (20) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 23, 2004
Not a bad beer ... I drank it when I was in Madrid ... I bought it at a grocery store. It was tasty, and was a "eating" beer ... something you would have with a good meal, to compliment, but definitely not to drink on its own - to try and find exceptional qualities. Overall, rather decent compared to what we have in Canada or the U.S (even more so).

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 Hildigöltur (5106) - København, DENMARK - APR 10, 2004
Very strange aroma of chicken. Thin and rather sweet flavour. Boring and unpleasant.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 jbrus (4992) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - APR 9, 2004
Grainy aroma. Pale golden color, white rocky head, few lace. Maltsweet, bitter, medium to thick body for a lager, boring.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Mads Langtved (2246) - Copenhagen K, DENMARK - JAN 28, 2004
A standard Spanish lager. They serve it way too cold 2 celcius. So it is almost impossible to taste it.
2.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 BroueNeault (157) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 28, 2004
A very classic lager...nothing speciel there, really. Still when your in Spain, you can't stop yourself from having one of their classic lager while eating yout tapas. The beer is well adapted to the country. Just thinking of Mahou makes me dream of Espana again, so that why my overall impression of that beer is so high.

I refuse to write comments about weak lagers like these. I'll simply copy someone else: Quite dark yellow color. Skunky smell. Watery, hoppy. Just another pilsener.
