Is difficult to call it beer. Its more like sourish malted soda. And this is not the worst of the Mahous.

33 cl bottle from a pub in Nerja Spain. Dropped in to watch the final minutes of a football match. This was the standard botteled lager. Did the trick for me - and my team won the game...

Had this again and it was just as meh as the first time. Poor lawnmower beer but only I'd it's cheap.

25cl bottle bought in Spar, Lloret de Mar, Spain. Malty taste with sour nute. Bitterness is dominating in palate with some malty background. Medium-long finish. White, medium thiock foam. Light-golden colour.

Poured from tap at a café in Port de Soller. Patchy white head, fragile lacing. Yellow-gold body colour. Mild aroma of grass and corn. Modest flavour of pale malts joined by a little fruity touch. Semi-dry ending of bland hops. Thin plus bodied. Possible to drink (Mallorca 09.07.2013)

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
A very bland danish style pilsner, but in the summer heat of Spain it’s a solid choice on tap.

Straw blond. Mild malt and grass in a rather watery forgettable lager.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
In Seville at a Cerveceria claiming to sell "The Cheapest Beer In Spain." How cheap?
A bucket of six 20cl Mahous cost 3 Euros. All around us, people were plowing through this beer by the bucketful.
A thoroughly average brew - no discernible aroma and just the faintest hint of hops. Goes down very easily, but the excessive carbonation is very bloating.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
On tap at several places throughout Madrid. Pours a crystal clear, straw yellow colored body with a finger-width, fizzy, white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is bland, lightly sweetened and grainy pale malts with some traces of hay and a light DMS note. Flavor is similar. Some grainy, lightly sweetened pale malts with touches of fruit, DMS, and hay. Finishes clean and very lightly bitter before leaving a short aftertaste. Light body and a fizzy, moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty boring pale lager, but not terrible or flawed.
