3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: Some Ovaltine malt drink at first, hazel nut, sweet, malty bread, a little burnt molasses.
Palate: Sweet but not cloying.
Flavor: Nutty, sweet, malty bread, molasses, yeast. Finishes a bit drier than it starts with bitter cocoa, molasses and slightly burnt coffee.
Comment: Better than I expected. For me it’s best drunk cold so as to keep the sweetness in check. I liked the evolution of sweet attack to a less sweet finish.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Quite dark reddish brown, large tan head, some lacing.
Aroma: fruity, lightly roasted, maybe some nuts, some kind of candy.
Taste: some licorice, fruit, lightly roasted, quite sweet, low bitterness, tastes nice, but is a bit watery.
Medium-bodied, quite a high carbonation.
A bit anonymous, but not bad.
