Dark brown but clear, head dissipates quickly. Light, wet, earthy aroma, toast and a hint of dark fruit, but no actual fruit. Pretty easy to drink but nothing special.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle courtesy of and shared with quiznoaz - thanks for bringing this from Spain! Sugar cane in the nose, very slight roast through the sip and aftertaste - starts sweet, ends with a bitter twist. Interesting.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 15/20
Style: Munich dark. Coffee, toasted aroma. Copper aftertaste. Weak body, kind of watery. Good solid beer, not very complex, but gets the basics right. Excellent for a Spanish brewery.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: NOV 22, 2010 Bottle @ Henrik, Bergen. Dark coppery body, thin creamy khaki head. Nose is mild caramel, red grapes and hints of lager yeast. Taste is roasted malts, toffee and grassy hops with some vague metallic hints. Near-creamy mouthfeel. A fairly OK Spanish dunkel, and the first I’ve had of the kind so far.

03-SEP-2010, bottle on Mallorca:)
Glad to have found this among many low level spanish beers.
Nice label, but could it really be black? I mean this is spain...
It pours quite dark brown but clear brown. Nose is roasted, coffee-like.
Taste is more charamelly but also with some roasted malty notes (chocolate is there).
Finally a fine spanish beer. Much like a schwartz bier.
Rebuy! Works here in the sun, but still has a lot more going than a San Miguel.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Clear, ruby-amber coloured, smaller loose off-white head with a little lace; moderate sweet-roasty nose, completed by molasses; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; slightly lingering finish with molasses, toasted malt, caramel and dark malt, not very sweet. Absolutely not the worst Dunkel......

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
aroma is roasty with some choco. Pours a dark ruby-brown with thin head. Flavour is ok but doesn’t make you want to come back for more. Mild choco and slight dry finish. Kind of watery.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle in Spain.
pours amber, tan head.
aroma, nice roasted malts, some dark fruits; fig, date? quite enjoyable nose.
flavors, malty with hints of coffee and more present caramel, mild undertones of cocoa nibs, possibly pale malts? light bitter finish with some fruits.
Beer started off nicely and ends a little weak.
