330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 5.5%. Beautiful chestnut to ruby colour, creamy and lasting tan head. Moderate but pleasant roasty aroma, notes of bakery, coffee and liquorice. The flavour is roasty with notes of burnt bread crust and burnt sugar. Coffee and tolerable hops in the aftertaste. Not too bad for a Spanish beer.

Deep ruby-brown colour, speckled beige head. Sweet malty flavour with reasonable complexity, moca and burnt caramel notes as well. Moderate length on the palate.

Bottle. Clear, dark red body with a medium beige head. Aroma is slightly roasted malt and a hint of chocolate. Flavor is mild, sweet and slightly roasted. Served cold you may say its a dark beer for a hot day.

Bottled. Clear, dark reddish-brown with a small beige head. The nose is a bit roasted and breadcrusts-like, with hints of coffee, but it could use a bit fruityness. The flavor is quite weak, with coffee, breadcrusts and cocoa. Medium-bodied with a quite dry finish with coffee. It lacks fruityness, but it is a quite nice spanish beer. (070208)

Dark brown, almost black with a really nice, light brown head. The first time I tasted it I liked it, I felt it was quite schwartzbier-like and found licorice and smoke. So I was disappointed to meet it again in Tenerife 2006, because it was way too sweet and malty, actually cloying, and had to be ice-cold to be drunk.

Bottled (thanks mabjork!). Dark brown colour with brown mediumsized head. Aroma is lovely barley malts, slight black cold coffee and caramellish. Flavour is dark roasted malts, some barley and biting hops. A bit acidic dark fruits also present when it gets warmer.
