Botella 33cl. Cerveza negra poco espesa y casi sin espuma que se va en seguida dando la sensación a la vista mas de refresco que de cerveza. Sabor un poco áspero. Típica cerveza negra comercial que se queda a medias. Quiero y no puedo.

Spanish interpretation of Münchener Dunkel with very stable, yellowish, beige, regular head and clear, very dark burgundy colour. Malt sweetness in the nose, a bit stout-like too, chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, dried leaves, iron. Rounded, smooth, bit oily palate, sufficient body, sweet malts (nuts, caramel, chocolate), bit metallic, finish somewhat thin but with roasted bitterness and spicy hops. Actually quite good, though closer to a Schwarzbier than to a real Dunkel.

Bottle 330 ml at home, poured into a lager glass. ABV 5.5% Brown colour on the body, with two fingers of creamy beige head on top, thick, with very good retention, leaving medium lacing behind. On the aroma lightly roasted malts, chocolate, iron, caramel. Taste has more caramel and less than the roasted malts, even more faint chocolate, some grass. Medium body, okay carbonation. Overall nothing special.

Bottle @ home. Pours brown with reddish notes. Aroma is a bit sweet, nutty with mild delicate chocolate and caramel, syrup, hints of fruitiness. Taste is nutty with some balancing caramel sweetness. Syrup, wood, chocolate and hints of spices. It finishes very dry with wahlnuts and red berries. Low unbalanced bitterness.

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, light brown, mostly diminishing. Body is dark brown. Aroma is moderately malty (roasted grain, molasses, wort, husks), with a note of walnut shells. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Raw and crude, an utter drain pour.

Flaska från Systembolaget. Coca-Cola färgad vätska med tjockt skum som la sig fort. Svagt av choklad i doften. Mörka bär och choklad i en bra blandning och som bjuder på en trevlig beska. Smarrig!

33cl bottle. Near black, thick brown head. Potato, toasted malt in aroma. Flavor has that same potato starch, coffee notes, metal, roasted malt. Slightly sweet finish. Drinkable, but borderline. Can’t remember having a beer with potato notes this up front before. Watery.
