Color is clear dark amber with tiny off-white head. Aroma is roasty, coffee, licorice and toffee. Taste is sweet with roasty flauvour. A bit watery mouthfeel. Nice beer.

From Mas. In Ikea’s english pint glass. Watching Breaking Bad 4x04.idnt enjoy and wont repeat, but I have to recognise that at least it has more character than typical spanish macro lagers. It lasts longer than usual because its torrefact bitterness makes me be drank it slowlier.

Mahou Negra is a dark lager in typical Czech style, where the difference between a traditional German dark lager, a dark mild ale and a schwarzbier can be difficult to distinguish. It has good sweet malt body and a clear hint of English licorice. Hop bitterness is gentle and keeps the aftertaste long. Lovely beer.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear ruby brown color with medium frothy tan-like head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of light roasted malt, caramel, nuts and chocolate. Taste starts with light sweet roasted malt, following is grassy and nutty, mouthfeel is dry and a bit metallic, while finish is mild bitter. Light to medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Quite an average dunkel, but not bad...

Clear, very dark brown. Frothy beige head. Sourish roasted aroma, coffee notes. Flavour is rather thin, roasted malt, caramel and hints of licorice. Not bad - until the sourishness comes back...
